Visitation restrictions implemented at St. Joseph's

Officials at St. Joseph's announced this afternoon that effective immediately any individuals visiting patients at the Hospital must be 18-years-of -age and older and not exhibit any symptoms of illness. Signage will be posted throughout the Hospital and at all of its entrances informing the public regarding this measure.

St. Joseph's President/CEO Sister Marie Castagnaro, SSJ said the restrictions are for the safety of the Hospital's patients. "We want to protect our patients from any possible viruses," said Sister Castagnaro. "The policy will be in effect until further notice."

Friends and family members are encouraged to utilize St. Joseph's e-greetings card on its web site at www.stjosephs.org. All e-greeting cards are printed and delivered by the Hospital's Volunteer department directly to a patient's room.
