Employee Wellness Update…

In September the Wellness Center will promote and several SJH departments will be on hand to kick off the American Cancer Society's’ Active for Life challenge (AFL). The program encourages people to set their own goals based on how active they are now to how active they want to be. Each participant earns one point per one minute of physical activity. Why physical activity? Regular physical exercise is known to improve general health by reducing stress, boosting self-esteem, and strengthening the immune system. Please note participation in any of the Wellness classes (Tai Chi, Yoga, and Muscle Strengthening class) earns extra AFL points. If you are interested call Nykole at extension 6283 for more details. September 1st will be the last day to join. The next challenge will be in January 2009!
