When Maggie (Lagonegro), one of the School's instructors, first asked me if I would speak at our banquet, I initially said no because I felt I had been up before you so many times that you would be saying, "Oh, not again!"  But rather quickly, the thought came to me that opportunity only knocks once and if I didn't do it now, it might not come again.  Either I wouldn't be asked or I would be too senile to talk coherently.

 

As I looked at our lovely Memorial Plaque, I truly was inspired to recall the history of our School and as I looked at the 1995 names listed there, I thought of all the stories that could be told of their experiences - the learning - the hard work - the good and the bad times - but best of all, the fun.  I am sure you here tonight are reliving and recalling your own personal stories.
